"Desperate Times, Desperate Measures"

We inch closer to ACW Fusion in Brooklyn, New York, and the tension is increased by the minute. Welcome to a new episode of ACW Impulse from the Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.

Last week's season premiere saw former Impulse World champion Sasuke Uchiha look for desperate ways to garner a World title rematch with new Impulse World champion Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto and Sasuke waged war against one another at Animania V last season that saw Naruto become a two time World champion.

Interim General Manager Lelouch Lamperouge initially denied Sasuke's request but Sasuke would not be finished pleading his case. Sasuke would drag a beaten and battered Izuku Midoriya, Naruto's protege, in order to guilt Naruto into a rematch. Naruto begrudgingly accepted but not until after Sasuke CKO'd Izuku's neck on the stage. The title rematch is set for ACW Fusion but it is clear now that the match is much more than a title.

Also scheduled for ACW Fusion will be champion Yoko Littner in her first title defense on a mega event defending her Element Championship against Mikasa Ackerman. Mikasa became the challenger after defeating Asuka Kazama in the main event last week to obtain the number one contendership. While Yoko came out afterward to parlay the scene, she would be attacked from behind by a seemingly different yet "oppressed" Samus Aran (who wants to be simply known as Samus). The Glamor X division has arrived on Impulse but who will stake claim to be the standard-bearer?

Tonight in action, the Cruiserweights take the stage as "The Prince of Tennis" Ryoma Echizen goes one on one against the newly crowned 2019 King of Elite, "The Joker" Akira Kurusu! Also, in a highly anticipated tag team match, Ryu and Ken of Shoryuken will face Jin and Mugen of Samurai Champloo. The winner will be the official number one contenders to the Impulse Tag Team titles, currently held by Kankuro and Gaara of the Sand Brothers.
