It’s been a few weeks since the tragic Kyoto Animation arson attack in Japan that killed 35 people. Kyoto Animation is one of the most influential anime studios in Japan and among the talent killed was top animation directors Yasuhiro Takemoto and Futoshi Nishiya. While there has been a lot of coverage on this news, we felt as though it lacked the perspective of the locals who were directly impacted by the incident. So how are the local citizens dealing with the aftermath? We hit the streets of Akihabara to find out.
