We’ve seen multiple villains returning to save Deku in this final arc, and my theory is that we’re going to be seeing OVERHAUL, very soon despite him being the one villain it’s hard to imagine ever being on Deku’s side, here’s why. Overhaul is a complicated character who suffered from having some of his backstory cut out of the anime, however when Overhaul took control of the Yakuza Villain group, he used his quirk to change the previous leader’s body in a way that forced him into a coma, but he didn’t do this out of malice, Overhaul actually felt like he was doing the right thing, and when he breaks out of Prison with Lady Nagant in the Vigilante Deku Arc of Season 6, all he wants is to get back to Gramps even though he can’t wake him back up since he has no arms. After Deku vs Lady Nagant, Deku promises to Overhaul that he’ll honor Lady Nagant’s deal and take Overhaul to see his boss, and we never saw Deku doing this because of everything that happened after, but is it possible that Deku DID do this, and now Overhaul owes him a favor? Deku did ask Overhaul to apologize to Eri, could she have healed his arms?
