Hello fam, today is a special day for a certain show that holds dear to my life and that anime show is called Pokemon as we celebrate it's 23rd anniversary since the show was released back in April 1 1997. As some of you may have known this channel for it's anime piano covers. The first piano arrangement project that I tackled back in 2016 was being able to cover all the dubbed openings of Pokemon. Unfortunately, I was only able to cover them up to opening 13 and was playing with a slightly out of tuned piano as well as bad audio sound quality.

From time to time, I get comments from you to do a re-cover of them because of my lack of techniques of executing the piece as well as the sound being muddy/messy. Through inspiration and motivation to start this project after more than three years, I have finally got the courage to get started and cover from start to current. I have played XY & XYZ and Sun & Moon openings and endings but from a Japanese version which some of you knew already. The latest piece I have played is the first opening of the new Pokemon Sword & Shield series so I am really quite caught up with the anime and their music.

But one thing that holds dear to my heart as a child was watching these shows from a dubbed version in the television. The openings that stuck with me and my childhood forever and so after listening to the songs again, it led me to finally cover them through my piano performance. So I hope you will enjoy listening to my project, enjoy the nostalgia and thank you Pokemon for the wonderful memories you gave me and many of us Pokemon fans. A whole new universe that made us feel like a kid adventurer catching dem pokemons. May the spirit and feeling of music be with you all :)
