At Home with Baccano!'s Ladd Russo

Bryan Massey, the voice actor for Ladd Russo in Baccano! and Oolong the Pig in Dragon Ball Z Kai, has come back for more fun on a brand-new Anime Adventures. Bryan also voices Rades Spiritos in Black Clover, Monkey D. Dragon in One Piece, Cocytus in Overlord, and Shark Fujishiro in My Bride is a Mermaid. Bryan continues to answer questions from fans, where he describes everything from his process of creating character voices, his vocal warm-up exercise before a voice session, and how he first got into voice-acting. You don’t want to miss him singing Mary had a Little Lamb in Ladd’s voice.

More About Bryan Massey:
Bryan Massey was born in Pontiac, Michigan but moved to Dallas at the age of 7. He got his first dose of fame at the young age of 9 when he made the local papers by winning a 5th-grade talent show lip-syncing to Steve Martin’s King Tut. Bryan showed a strong interest in cartooning and filmmaking at 13 years old. His dad then bought him a Super 8mm camera, which he then used to make comedic action shorts. Bryan took part as the lead in several musicals and community theatres while in college. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Radio/Television.

Due to his unique voice range, Bryan started doing voice work for many anime shows and cartoons. His anime work includes voices for shows like Attack on Titans, Black Clover, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, My Hero Academia, Psycho-Pass, Tokyo Ghoul, Dr. Stone, Fullmetal Panic: Invisible Victory, D.Gray-Man and Fire Force.

Bryan also has extensive on-camera credits on his resume in shows and movies like Prison Break, X-Files, Mad Money, and Judd Apatow’s comedy Year One.
