"What is your name? (Kimi no Naha, English: Your Name.) is a 2016 Japanese animated film directed and written by Makoto Shinkai. Ryunosuke Kamiki and Mone Kamishiraishi play the lead roles (voice appearances). Masashi Ando was the animation director, and Masayoshi Tanaka was the character designer.

Shinkai's sixth theatrical animated film, three years after his previous work, "The Garden of Words." Taki, a boy living in Tokyo, and Mitsuha, a girl living in a rural town deep in the mountains in the Hida region, have a mysterious phenomenon called "switching" that has occurred, and it is said that they will approach the earth for the first time in 1200 years.
