Ai Tenshi Densetsu Wedding Peach has been maligned by the magical girl fandom and forgotten by the rest of us (save for its popularity in Korea). But this mid-'90s show had a bigger effect on the anime industry than one would think, both in Japan, where it helped to codify the warrior subtype, and in North America, where the most important thing was its commercial failure.
