Romeo X Juliet aired in Spring 2007, an it is the hardest anime for me to finish. I grew up reading the Shakespeare as part of my subjects but eventually love it and its tragedy. That is why this anime which is loosely based on the novel Romeo and Juliet was for me one of the anime entertainment masterpiece. The love and tragedy and the story and even the song 'You raise me up' has now open up the new meaning for me.
