Singapore will restrict entry to all new travellers who have been to mainland China in the last 14 days -- regardless of nationality -- starting Feb 1, 11.59pm. All Chinese passport holders will also not be issued visas, and the Manpower Ministry will reject all new work pass applications for foreign workers from mainland China until further notice. The tighter measures were announced as the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus worsens in China. Singaporeans, permanent residents and long-term pass-holders are still allowed to enter Singapore, but are subjected to a leave of absence from work or school for 14 days as a precaution.
