INTRO :
The anime closely follows the events of the first seven light novels (excluding the fifth novel: Summer Holiday Arc + 1). There are three video game adaptations of the series.

SYNOPSIS :
April 1995 , about a century after magic was established as a technology . Two brothers and sisters entered
the first high school attached to the National Magic University,
commonly known as "Magic High School", which trains magicians .
One is Tatsuya, an inferior student who has a fatal flaw as a magician .
The other is Miyuki, a younger sister of an honor student who is praised as a perfect magician .
The two are so close to each other that they are sometimes mistaken for lovers, but
until just a few years ago, they had a cold relationship like a mistress and a servant .
There was an event behind the change in that relationship.
Okinawa three years ago.
An unforgettable event for Miyuki will greatly change their hearts and their destiny.
