We have some exciting news for Warner Brothers' upcoming Lord of the Rings anime-film: The War of the Rohirrim, and I think the concept art looks amazing so far. The War of the Rohirrim is set in 2758-2759 of the Third Age during an event called the Long Winter. There's a war between Rohan and Dunland going on and we see King Helm Hammerhand defend Súthburg that becomes known as Hornburg after the war, though many might be more familiar with the name Helm's Deep. The war also involves many other interesting factions such as Gondor, Corsairs of Umbar & The Easterlings - and from the concepts it looks like the Haradrim will also play a role, as we can see an oliphaunt (mumakil) besieging Edoras along with men from Dunland.
The War of the Rohirrim is said to reflect the visuals of Peter Jackson, and the world-famous film-director have also expressed his excitement for the film on Facebook.
The War of the Rohirrim will release the 12th of April 2024, so we still have some time before it's out, but it looks very promising so far, if you ask me!

Keep in mind this film is not related to Amazon's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power TV-series.
