We're watching Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll (2019) (ヴァイオレット・エヴァーガーデン 外伝 永遠と自動手記人形). It's a great continuation of Violet's story but not necessarily NEEDED. Kyoto Animation Studio does an amazing job. Still worth a watch if you love Violet.
