In November we’ll finally be blessed with the arrival of the Scott Pilgrim anime which was worked on in secret and revealed a few months ago, and since then fans of the comics and classic movie have been really excited, but for those that don’t know what this series is about at all, Scott Pilgrim is a Western Comic that surrounds the life of a boy named Scott from Canada who falls in love with the new girl in town, Ramona Flowers. Not being a good guy, Scott cheats on his girlfriend Knives and pursues a relationship with Ramona, but there’s a price to pay if he wants to make the relationship last, as Scott has to fight every single one of Ramona’s exes who’ve all come back into the picture for various reasons. This classic comic series was a big part of my childhood and i’m stoked to see it being animated with so much love for the original series clearly visible on screen, but the best part is the amazing cast from the movie featuring big names like Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Michael Cera and more are all returning for the show to reprise their roles, so expect some coverage from me on this channel as the animation looks pretty great and I’m expecting this to be one of the sleeper hit anime of the fall season.
