Uma Musume is an anime that I didn't expect to be anything special, in fact I started watching it so I could make fun of it. An animated series about idol horse girls? Uh... no. BUT... but, the show ended up being an emotional rollercoaster, full of character development, drama, and charm, and it's ended up becoming one of my favorite anime of all time, particularly its second season.
