Because Jackie can't take her to an amusement park until he discovers the power of a newly-found talisman; Jade decides she'll speed up the process by unlocking its secrets on her own. Grabbing the talisman; she discovers she is able to "exit" her body through the power of Astral Projection. While having fun out of her corporeal form; the Dark Hand thugs are easily able to take the talisman from her. Now with the talisman; Shendu is able to escape the statue. He enters the vacant body of Jade in astral form in the hopes of being led to Section 13 where he can retrieve the other talismans and regain his full power. Astral Jade; unable to reenter her body; must now figure out how to let Jackie know that the Jade among them is really a wolf in sheep's clothing.
