After watching a cursed tape sent to him by Class 1-B, Deku and our students take part in a Jump Scare competition with members of Class 1-B and it’s all about using their quirks to raise the other team’s heart rates and eliminate them. It’s here we we find out just how scary Class 1-B is, as Manga makes scary noises in the forest as Kuroiro appears out of the darkness grabbing Deku’s leg which gives them a point, as Tokage splits her body up and appears behind Jiro in pieces, scaring her completely out of the competition for 3 points. Kaminari and Mina both get nearly eliminated after they find a strange bag with a eye looking out of it, and this gives 1-B a whopping 10 point lead, but Deku comes up with a plan to use all of their quirks together, so Mina comes stumbling out of the forest like a rotting and decaying zombie, with floating balls of fire around her thanks to Mineta, Deku and Todoroki, but Monoma just LAUGHS at their attempt, saying to prepare for this they’ve all been watching classic horror movies, and with their strongest attempt now failed, Class 1-A actually loses to Class 1-B in the Super Hero Scare Off.
