• Her blade is faster and more flexible than Tengen Uzui’s swords. It was made by the same swordsmith, but Mitsuri’s blade can twist and bend in any direction, giving her more options and speed in combat.
• She has superhuman strength and durability because of her rare muscle composition. She is also called the Eightfold Woman, a legendary female warrior who could lift eight men with one arm.
• Her breathing style, the Love Breathing, is based on love and emotion. She can perform techniques faster than the Sound Hashira and change the direction of her attacks mid-swing. She also renamed her breathing forms after meeting Obanai Iguro, the Snake Hashira who has a crush on her.
• She has to fold her blade multiple times to sheath it correctly. She cannot use a normal scabbard, so she wraps it around her waist like a belt. Mitsuri joined the Demon Slayers because she finally felt like she could be herself and be useful to others, but also because she figured that she wanted a really strong husband and who would be stronger than a Hashira, which gave her an extra reason to rise to that rank so she could meet them. When she does, Kanroji is actually interested in ALL of the other Hashira even Shinobu telling us that Kanroji was likely Bi, but the person she enjoyed spending time with the most was Obanai Iguro the Serpent Hashira. For Iguro when he saw Mitsuri for the first time it was love at first sight, with even his pet snake Kaburamaru getting really flustered at Kanroji’s beauty, and this of course lead Obanai gifting her her large socks when he realizes how nervous she is about wearing her revealing uniform. Obanai becomes very protective of Mitsuri who starts to fall deeply in love with him, despite the fact that Obanai feels like it could never be because of his tainted evil bloodline.
