Rei Todoroki joins the fight for the very first time in the series in My Hero Academia Chapter 388, and here’s what her quirk can do. We’ve seen that the Himura family in My Hero Academia is legendary for their ice quirks, with Geten from the Paranormal Liberation Arc being revealed to be a member of this powerful family, but from the main branch of the family we have Rei Todoroki, whose Ice Quirk is much stronger than it seems at first. Dabi’s flames are so powerful that it started melting Shoto and Endeavor who are both insanely fire resistant, yet even in Dabi’s massive Fire dome created from the power of his flames, Rei’s Ice Quirk is able to actually form and maintain its shape for a decent while, allowing her at full power to actually begin coating Dabi, Endeavor and herself in Ice to try and save her son, and even though Dabi who can literally melt Concrete is still too powerful for her to freeze, you can see how IF Rei had become a Hero and advanced her quirk to its highest point, how the Todoroki mom might actually be as fearsome as Endeavor, just with a different element, making us question how Dabi vs Shoto could've gone differently, and how the events of My Hero Academia Season 6 would have changed with her presence.
