Set in a world where superpowers (called "Quirks") have become commonplace, the story follows Izuku Midoriya (also known by his hero name Deku), a boy who was born without a Quirk but still dreams of becoming a superhero himself.

Izuku Midoriya (緑谷出久), also known as Deku (デク), is the main protagonist of the My Hero Academia manga and anime series.
